Hey guys,

Got a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8 and I got a few CEL codes. I was hoping some of you can point me in the right direction as to what to change. It's a good female friend's car and me being a car guy, she came to me.

She went to autozone and they printed a paper with:

-Large vacuum leak ( Ican handle that, just need to chase it down)
-Fuel system fault (No clue)
-Ignition system fault (Maybe just needs plugs and wires)
-Failed bank 1 catalytic converter (I'm guessing o2 sensor related)

No actual codes (which im sure would help). If it is necessary, i can take the car back to the zone and right down the actual codes. She went alone...

SO PLEASE HELP ME

Thanks,

T

the vac leake is probably causing the majority of the issues buddy.

does it show the code #'s?

I have a friend at nissian and he's replaced a lot of maf sensors when people dont use the oem air filter. Maybe thats one of your issues.

Thanks guys. I'm taking the car to Smelly240's house tomorrow and he has a code reader and we will go from there!
