92-95 Cluster swap

I have seen/heard conflicting stories of whether an ex/lx/si tach cluster will work with 92-95 dx civics. Some say it will not because you need a new main harness but than I see a thread in journals and a kid swapped a tach cluster in his 93' hatch. Are the coups and hatches harnesses different?

tl;dr: can you plug and play a tach cluster into a 95 dx, heard conflicting stories

Si or EX cluster will plug right in.

yes the tach will work i personally did that with my dx and put in an EX cluster and it worked with no mods
