I want to get a roof mounted rack for MY01 RS sedan. I know i need the towers, crossbars, locks, fairing, clips and ski rack but i was wondering what most of you have(yakima or thule) and where did you buy it from...Thanks!

I have a thule for the bimmer, bought it from a bike shop to accomodate 2 mountain bikes. paid around $350 including fairing.

you can do better then that on ebay.

I believe there are two....I recall seeing a Bobert in one of the threads I was reading the other day.....I am gonna look for either thule or yakima online...a few ppl that I have talked to said yakima is stronger because of the round bars verse the square ones...

Interesting. How did you get this. I'm looking at getting roof bars for my car too.
