Well so far the best I have been able to do at the track is in my sig. Will I be able to improve on my times if I went to a drag radial? I want to go with mickey thompson 255/50R16 drag radials on my stock wheels. On average I pull around 2.1-2.3 60' times and thats with alot of wheel spin and on Dunlop FM901 225/50R16's.

If it could lower my times, what times do you think I could pull? My trap speeds usually stay around 105, but I've done some improvements since then. I know I need alot of practice to. Getting out of the hole is the hard part for me.

Are you spinning much on take-off?

Yes on take off and sometimes breaking loose going into second.

Oh and this is at Atco if that makes a difference.

Drag radials will certainly help that 60' time of yours. 2.1 is a lousy sixty foot with a 105 trap. I ran 12.96 at 103.68, so you should be able to get into the 12's if you hook up.

For a 105 trap you could be pulling down 13.1's or 13.0's in that car. Try to get the 60' under 2 secs and it's all good!

I was thinking the same thing. Low 13's maybe high 12's if I'm lucky, but I think low 13's in this car is feasible. I just need to practice the damn launch in this car.

Shouldnt you be studying for your interpersonals, hahahaha. Just stay on course with your future AWD plan and you wont have to worry about going from a dig.
