im looking to trade in my car for a vw gli 2008 with the autobahn pakage
here is the car i want real bad

my grandparents are in there late 70s and they drive a 2004? F350 turbodiesel manual... ok not all the time lol

i like those cars...mild drop, tint and some different wheels and you're set.

and no problem with a reliable auto DD.

na im getting a auto my mom and sis are chippin in if i get one so they can drive it sometimes i doubt that will happend cuz i dont like anyone driving my car and i wanna grow up and get outta the whole my car is faster than yours bs. if i get this ill slam it tint the **** outta it and throw some bbs's on it **** will look nice

they are 18s and alot of people actually like them

quick question dude is adr rims for vw's equivlent to rotas and drag rims to honda guys

if you dont care about speed you can look at the 2.5s... even more reliable.

I would look for one with DSG. then you can be sorta manual lol

you out of all our friends made fun of all vw's and german cars. even made ant sell his car lol, and now your getting one. owellllllll. yo mr vitale has one (ryan teacher) if you wanna take it for a spin.

honestly I dont know, Im not a huge wheel/tire buff.

most people swap out oems... get audi rims or whatever they like w/ propper fitment.

i know i said i dont really care about speed but that is me now and a year later ill prolly have mods haha but idk i want the gli 2.5's are stupid slow haha

but my question is are there any problems with the gli like recalls or parts goin bad on the car sooner than normal cars

Have you done any research yourself? It would make more sense to do all the research you can on your own, then come back here with specific questions...

haha yea i know its funny cuz when i would pick my lil cuz up i would see him and he would speed off on academy road and i would look to my cuz and be like wow thats his mid life crisis car hahaha now im lookin into gettin one

most of these arn't really common except maybe the pcv cracking, which isn't a horrible issue. Just annoying, you can still drive it.

Lots of people have 0 problems with it. Just ask around on vortex.

boost should be between 12-15, PS i agree that you should go manual or DSG.
