RIP Nick Adenhart

Sad day for baseball fans on Wednesday/Thursday morning. Angels Rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart, along with two unnamed passengers were fatally wounded after a van broadsided their car. Adenhart was a passenger in the vehicle and the driver of the van supposedly had a BAC above the legal limit. The driver of the van had also been previously convicted of a DUI. Nick made his 4th major league start on wednesday pitching 6 scoreless innings, in a game where his manager Mike Scioscia said he pitched a wonderful game. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims as well as Nick's teammates. RIP. Nick was 22 years old.
