ok so i bought a boosted 95 ex civic..long story short it wasnt tuned right and running 9 psi on a stock motor ended in blown motor..turbo is still good and boosted fine..so my plans are to either part the car out and sell everything or swap the motor with a. stock single cam d16 motor and run on like 5 psi which is what i hear they can safely run. or b shell out the extra cash for a b16/b18 motor and this leads to my question:
will my greddy td04 15g turbo kit directly bolt up to a b series motor and will it be efficient enough to make any significant power?
now i dont want this to turn into a disussion about which motor is better yadda yadda..i know the b series dohc is obviously better than the sohc d series..but im interetsed in if the turbo will even work with the b series at all..if not im not trying to bother with a b series and different turbo kit..my main plan is to most likely get a running motor in there with the turbo kit running on 5 psi and a decent tune and then either daily drive or sell it..not trying to build a race car ha..
thanks in advance for any help.
