Anyone know if FWD nissan manual transmissions are interchangable?

So my cousin has a 1986 Maxima, VG30E, 5 speed. His transmission is fubar'd, and my uncle happened to come upon a Nissan Stanza 5 speed for free. Now, I know they were all 4 cylinder, but I'm not sure what year this one is, so its either a CA16 or a KA24E, but does anyone know if either of those transmissions would work on a VG30E? My first thought was no way in hell, but I just wanted to double check, because I don't know for sure.

Probably different bell housings to start. Hop on maximas.org and see if you can find one locally.

Look at the under the hood vin plates for the tans code. I know for fact the Maxima 5 speed and Altima 5 speeds have the same transcode but don't swap. I'm going to say no to this one.
