mad stoooooked over my new project

Pickin up an mx83 cressida this weekend hopefully. I've wanted one for about 2 years now, found a local one through a few people. Cressida dudes are mad close knit. I'm pretty much getting it as a rolling chassis which is exactly what I wanted. Who the **** wants a 7mge anyways? :bigeek: It's somewhat of a long term project. Already got a daily so I'm in no rush to get it running. But having a fun car to drive in the summer might make me want to get it on the road sooner.

Aftermarket is nowhere near the size of 240s but that's what makes it fun. I had an opportunity to get a rolling chassis gold s14 like my old one but as much as i wanted to get it and drop my sr and coils in, I didn't wanna do the same thing over again. I'll post some pics when I get it. :mrgreen:

As for 240 parts left overs, I got an SR, Tein flex coils, 3" Heavy Throttle downpipe, B&M short shifter, nismo mounts. I think thats it lol I have a part out thread here just haven't been bumping it up.

sweet project. i always wanted one of these, there was one on zilvia for a while blue with old school centerlines powdercoated orange. i kept thinking of it but couldn't like with the auto. then i found one with a built 7m and 5speed in new york but i was a little too late for it, the guy had a deposit when i wanted to go look at it. when i have more time i want to do one of these right. good luck!

yea i remember that x73. you could always do a 5spd swap.

the one with the built 7m is gorgeous. I think he's parting out tho. That car was cleaaaaaan.

well, i prefer rwd. The cressida isn't exactly the most aesthetically pleasing car to most people. Stock its pretty ugly. it looks ****in awesome slammed w/ a wide low offset set of wheels.
