I am diagnosing an issue with my ECU, I want to put it in another known good car to see if the flashing issue persists. No harm to your car.

bad idea bad idea bad idea
ecus dont usually go bad on their own. something else in the wiring usually f*cks it up. if you put someone elses ecu in your car and f* it up youre out your ecu and theirs...and they are gonna be stranded w/o a car too.
plug YOUR ecu into THEIR car.

no the case. The ECU isn't fried. It turns on, goes into test mode, fires relays fine. The issue is the origin of the ECU is unknown and it may have been locked by a tuner in the past therefore not allowing me to flash/read it.

okay, still having the issue.
The post above makes sense, what I need is someone with an 02/03 subaru wrx. I will be testing the flashability of the ECU I have in your car. If it works, then the ECU is fine. If it doesn't ecu is borked. Either way no damage to your car. And ill throw you a 20 spot.....if you can get here (southampton, pa) in 30 mins.
