It dawned on to me that i've had my car modified for 83% of it's life. I bought Cobb's AccessPort when it first came out and when it was so hard to get one. I actually bought it from Alchua (Cliff) because he accidently ordered 2. What good luck I had on that one...

It wasn't long after I got the stage 1 until I tossed on the first exhaust (TXS Stealthback). It was cool because it enabled me to run stage 2 but not have a loud exhaust. After 4 days, I hated the exhaust. The 4"dp hung way too low and I scraped all the time... which was not cool in my book. Thank GOD I went with Cobb's full TBE because it is a dream.. sounds great and looks clean as hell.

I just wanted to comment on how my car is proof that a modded STI driven hard as hell for 35,000 miles is running solid. I have Cobb's street tuner now and an LM-1 with XD-1 to monitor the health...

back to the original thread...

I hit 35k miles last night and can't really think of anything to have the dealer check out before I hit the 36k factory warranty cut-off. I have the extended one incase stupid stuff breaks like the windows and heater, etc...

Has anyone had anything break on them around my mileage that I could get checked out while it is still free?

thanks

Rear driver window went out. Rear view mirror cracked, but that is it on mine 30K miles. 15K @ 340whp or higher.

I assume the whole 3yr 36,000 miles thing for bumper to bumper... and then maybe 60k for powertrain?

I've gone close to 90K without having to replace anything other than my MAF sensor and regular wear and tear stuff like brakes, tires, etc.

Well, other than a transmission......

+1 for Subaru reliability.
