This isnt my actual Accord in this pic, but i was thinkin bout taking this trim off of my 01 Accord. Does anyone kno if theyre holes behind it or just double faced tape?

most of the time, there are holes. the only honda i know of that had stick-on moldings were the civic cx's

you can't just take them off... there are clips that are in holes there. You need to get a piece welded to cover the hole piece and shave it that way. I have seen too many people try to fill those spots and it doesnt last.

You could strip the trim and fill the holes in from behind it with bondo (put a decent layer that will have a strong backing) and then sand the door down outside. Done.

that wont work, you have to use some sort of backing or eventually the bondo will loosen up. I used a stiff weaved fiberglass on mine.

Dont think im taking them off, if i do decide to the only thing id do is get the holes welded closed!!!

cut some squares out of sheet metal, scuff behind the door and epoxy them in. no heat, holds like a chief. go and get the body work done, youll be happy, mouldings are FTL
