Hey guys, I know I started a thread about this already but this is kind of the culmination of things so wanted to share. Driving this car around for the week in SoCal even without the tune and suspension was FUN. These turbodiesels are great engines, torque feels fast!

The goal was to make a Mk1 Rabbit do 0-60 in 7 seconds, get 70 mpg and be able to be replicated for $7k USD. Needless to say, one of those goals was shattered :D

And if you have no idea what the back-story is, here's everything from the past two months in one place;

hahah, thanks. I may or may not have had it three times in the one week. Once at 12:50 AM, double double animal style. Every time I'm out there I can't avoid it.

hahah, can you imagine that Fiat with turbodiesel power, though? It would be incredible. And it's also an Italian design, and baby blue. hmm...

I'm glad you guys like it! 8 weeks of averaging 16 hour days, lots of traveling, all comes together in the end. I wish I got to drive the car in it's final form, but even stock with the TDI motor it was a fun commuter.
