Red Car W/ Gold wheels??? Should?

Ive been doing alot of thinking and i think after i do some interior work and engine work im going to look at getting some new wheels. I was thinking some nice 5 star gold wheels with a chrome lip. Going to drop down a size to a 16.

What you guys think???

I think if you find the right set of wheels, it could work. If its not the right set of wheels, it will look terrible lol. It could be hit or miss. I'd give it a 50/50 chance of looking good.

I like those wheels but you need a sick offset to make them pop. otherwise its just another del sol with wheels. car looks good man

I know this is going to sound drastic, but go down to a 15" wheel, lose the kit, and slam it on its guts. Get a gold/polished bbs/other name brand mesh in 15x7.5 +35/40 if you want a nice, not too insane offset. or 15x7 +30 and 15x8 +25

Ha ha nope im keeping the body the way is it. I just didnt do all this body work for nothing. Plus i wanna be unique in my own way kinda not like every other stock slammed del sol on 15s

Either that, or maybe BBS CH wheels? Use a little more of an agressive offset and stance, and it could look awesome.

I agree with whoever said to go 15's and lose the kit. I understand you are trying to be "different" but it seems more people add kits and oversized wheels compared to stock body and a nice set of wheels. I could just be biased though, I <3 stock body cars. As for me, I would never go bigger then a 15" on a civic/del sol.
