The Eagles would be more pathetic if your were one of their fans......thank god you aren't.
NFL bylaws prohibit "any interference by a member club with the employer-employee relationship of another club or any attempt by a club to impermissibly induce a person to seek employment with that club or with the NFL."
Buddy.. it's the rules of the NFL. It's a legit complaint. Why are you trying to stir up something that isn't? Just remember who owned the NFC for the past 5 years. All teams have off-years... look at the patriots.

I still don't get what they interfered with. Making comments during interviews is considered interference? It's not even like he made the comments TO T.O. Sounds like the Eagles are a little sour and pouting right now.
The arbitrator asked all NFL teams not to comment on the TO situation until after the ruling. Apparently, Dallas didn't get the memo.

I thought the hearing was done and over with? And I dunno why the Eagles are bitching and moaning considering they don't want anything to do with him and are just going to bench him the rest of the season and then release him during the offseason. I could see if Jerry Jones was talking about a player the Eagles actually wanted or have on their team and this was thier contract season and that could affect how the player looks at re-sigining with the Eagles.

The Eagles would be more pathetic if your were one of their fans......thank god you aren't. :mrgreen:Nah......the fans they have now are pathetic enough. When talking to my uncle who is a big time Eagles fan about how this guy we work with went to an Eagles game and they were pushing him around and threw some punches at him all he had to say was, "we don't want you at our stadium". Yeah and you wonder why this is the only stadium to have a court and holding cell in it

Its 2005. The holding cell was at the vet. There isn't a court at the Linc. I've heard you say this about 100x's, and I laughed everytime.

It is. Jerry Jones stated what he stated previous to the arbitrators decisions. You should get your story facts straight before posting things.

You should get your story facts straight before posting things. So if thats the case then why did the Eagles wait so long to file a case? And I haven't heard anything saying that the radio interview happened before the decision. As for the holding cell, I always heard that the Linc had one as well. If it doesn't oh well my bad
watch comcast sports. they had a whole 15 minute segment dedicated to this story. The Eagles filed a complaint the next day. It just was put public.

The Eagles barely beat the Packers...you tell me
The Eagles barely beat the Packers...you tell me
What does that have to do with this topic...?
Also.. Tampa Bay barely beat the packers... 17-16.
Carolina barely beat the packers... 32-29
Minnesota barely beat the packers... 23-20
Cinncinatti only beat the packers by a touchdown 21-14
Your glorious steelers only beat the packers by 10 points. 20-10.
What's your point, honey? Wait.. you don't have one.

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH! My point is that the Eagles are horrible this year. What did my statement have to do with the topic? It was proving even further how pathetic the Eagles are. I would say 10 points is not BARELY beating anyone.
How about you get this point, your EAGLES are so pathetic this year they won't even make it as a wild card for the playoffs. Point made end case, next time you want to try and own or sass someone make sure the team you are backing is at least good and not 0-4 and fighting for last place in their division.
hey... i never disagreed that the eagles were pathetic. But the stillers only beating the pack by 10 is pretty pathetic too :P And didn't big ben play that game, or no?

Actually how is that pathetic? They beat them by a touchdown and a field goal. The Eagles won because of a FG by Akers....so um yea I don't get your logic on how winning by 10 points is pathetic. Here is how your Eagles win's stack up:
SF Win = (39 points)
Oakland Win = (3 points)
KC Win = (3 points)
San Diego Win = (3 points)
Green bay Win = (3 points)
Wow I just noticed something...most of the Eagles wins are by 3.
Stillers>>>>>>>pack. its not pathetic in the sense that its STILL a win. but the game should have been more lopsided than the packers win against New Orleans.
my point is.. most of the packers losses were close games.... the eagles aren't the only ones barely beating them.

Every team has up's and down's. Lets compare overall records for your awesome steelers vs. the eagles..
Franchise Record

Awesome we shall compare the past then...
How many superbowls has Pittsburgh won? 4
How many superbowls have the Eagles won...? Okay thought so thanks...

Like I said, I'm not disagreeing that the Eagles aren't pathetic this year. But beating green bay by 5 is not something normal, green bays losses have been close games to very good teams (ex. stillers, bengals, carolina) The eagles are hurting... I just hope they can be revived for next season.

I love the Eagles and I stand by them all the way. I would say that if you beat someone by 10 points that is still a close game considering that it's only a touchdown and a field goal away form tying the game. The Eagles aren't pathetic, I mean if you are calling us pathetic then the Patriots must be pathetic too considering they are only 6-5. We still have a chance to make the playoffs and I will even put money on it that we do. If you can't stand by your team when they are even 2-14 for the season then you really aren't a true fan of your team. I love the Eagles and they are going through a rough season just like Doug said.

2 possesion game doesn't equal close. The difference between the Eagles and Pat's is that the Pat's are in first place in their division. So as bad as they're doing this year because of injuries *just like the Eagles* they're still in the playoff's at this point *unlike the Eagles*

Yeah, I stand by the Eagles too. I wish TO wasnt a psycho.. he'd still be playing. a 10 point game is a very close game, still. And yes... the Patriots are pathetic too... they have the same injury issues... well besides Tom Brady.

The hell it isn't. A two posession game can be two touchdowns for a win. Anything can happen on any given Sunday. There's these things called turnovers....

I don't think T.O. is psycho he just doesn't know when to shut his mouth and is a media whore. If he learned to control his mouth and attitude he could have easily broken so many records this year and continued his career to be a legend.

Look the only reason that McNabb was giving away so many turnovers is because he was playing through pain that I'm sure no one else would be able to play through. He was just trying to put too much on himself. He wanted to help the team win by playing through the injuries. He is a good player just has some more to learn. Everyone does.

Not really... mcnabb always seems to throw picks ending big games. he needs to work on not rushing the ball, and using his feet again.
Yeah, McNabb has been good at giving them
agreed.

At least you get that too...his clutch making decisions are not that great either. But that comes with experience...

He's still a young player... christ he's been in 3 NFC championships and a superbowl in his young career. He's one of the best in the league... him, peyton, brady... etc. I think next year he will have an incredible season. He was on his way to having one this year, he held the top passing yards for a few weeks.. until his injuries got worse.

Wow I am appalled you forgot to mention Big Ben... j/k
He's good.. but he still has to prove himself :P

I think the fact that eagles fans bragging about being on top of the nfc east for the past five years is equivilant to bragging about sealing second base when there is a man on third.
The rest of the teams in that division with the exception of the redskins were putting young players into their system. Letting them gain experience.
Big Ben is going to thrive in pittsburg and only in pittsburg. If he were to sign with another team i dont think he could handle it.
SHould be interesting to see which team(s) from the nfc east get to the playoffs. They are imho the best division in both the afc and the nfc.

Big Ben is a decent player but a someone said he still have to prove himself. He has become decent because of the veteran players around him like Hines Ward, the Bus, and other veterans. They rely on the run more than the pass. I don't think that Big Ben will ever have a 300 yard passing game, at least not many. He needs to prove himself before he can be as great of a player like Peyton or anyone of that caliber. He is still young and has many years left to prove himself though.

i get your cute analogy.. but it is something to be proud of.

Either that, or the best wish of all........the eagles continue to decline and decline until they reach a 49ers or texans status, haha.
P.S. If the Steelers were in the NFC, we could make it to the NFC championship game every year too!
