I want to know what dealers you guys get your service done at. The one I bought my car from is not only kinda weak dealing with mods but kinda far from my school where I am the majority of the time. I want to know what Dodge dealers you guys take your cars to and which ones don't give you BS for your mods.

my friend (srt42envy) takes his to hamilton chrysler dodge...rt 33 in hamilton,nj....my friend is also a tech there...they are basically like a mod friendly dealer since most of the kids in the shop drive wrx's, srt-4's, and evos. What they tend to do is do the work on the cars and basically hide them from the service manager..I mean it goes through the dealership but they dont show the service manager under the hood!! if you need more info pm me

what kind of mods are you looking to get done, b/c if you don't want to pay all that money to the dealer, I could help you out a lot, you saw my srt-4 wednesday at the west chester meet, i've done everything myself, and this winter I'm doing a Gt40R upgrade with race heads and rebuilding my internals

that thing will be a beast man...but i think the other srt guy was saying that if he took his car to a dealer...he wanted to watch his warranty!

depending on what you do it'll void the warranty anywayz, i mean I have the E-01 boost controller in my car, I have it hooked up so that if anything happens it'll only take about 5 min to take it out and hook-up the stock vacuum lines. If he's just doing staged upgrades and the mopar blowoff valve type deals, it doesn't matter where it gets done, I never had a problem when something broke on my car so far, after I went stage 1 and block off plate.

I've got a buddy at Stockburger Chrysler in Newtown that is very friendly to modded SRTs(because he has one). Let me know if you need anything done. He's actually helped out a couple of other SRT owners on the site.

I wouldnt suggest taking the car to a dealer, most of the mechanics dont even know there was a turbo neon made or might mess something up, just go to a shop...maybe revitupmotorsports or psifi motorsports they both do great jobs on SRT-4s and both have there own race car they built, they arent that expensive either, I know Ray from revitup hes a cool guy, and so is the psifi motorsports guys, mike and some others, if i were u i would take it to one of them.

it depends all that he wants to do, like stage 1 and stage 2, driveway about 1/2 hr. block off plate- 1/2 hr, stupid stuff can be done by urself or w/ some friends, like using a dyno or tuning, that is 100% goes to a shop b/c they'll get it to it's peak HP. I plan on doing my engine rebuild, clutch and everything right in my driveway, if anyone needs help round exton, PA with their car, jus PM, i've got the experience and knowledge, i'm a certified mechanic

I'm not going to be investing alot of money into mods, just some basics, for now at least I want to put my side exit back on, probably a larger FMIC with hardpipes and a Type-S, maybe a S1, WGA and a boost controller a little down the road.
The reason I asked was because I almost got screwed hard from my usual dealer when it went in for warranty service because of my wastegate and exhaust. They made me put my car back to stock but I'm getting the mod bug again since I saw 05ocs car at the meet. :afro:

dont get the Greddy, spend the little bit of extra money and get the HKS super sequential  ...And I would hold off on the FMIC to one of the last things to get

Like I said in my post above. I've got a buddy with a 450+ hp SRT-4 who can hook you up.

Ray & Scott at RevitUpMotorsports are good guys, I'll back SRT42Envy on this
Mike & Anthony at PSI-FI Motorsports are good guys too, I'll back SRT42Envy on this also.
But these guys can't help you with warranty parts like friends at dealerships can, they'll just help you go faster & break more parts. It's a check 22.

Why upgrade the FMIC if your not upgrading the turbo. In my opinion keep it stock its efficient enough....your only gonna be wasting your money.

haha, so true. The reason i asked on here is because it's a local forum, hence close dealerships would be found.

i know,.. im just playin.
i only needed to go to the dealer once but i went to barbera on the blvd and had no problems. however my friend was there recently and they gave him a little hassle.. not sure if it was isolated or what. ..he had a hole cut in the airbox for that old "hood mod" (people used to cut a hole in the underside of the hood and the airbox for air to flow through from the hoodscoop) and they made him get an uncut lid before they touched the car. kinda dumb.. but all the dealers are nervous because of that document chrysler sent out not long ago about working on modded '4's
