upgradeing to 16 inch rims, what size tires?

ok im going from the stock 15 inch to a 16 inch rima and tire. what size tire should i get for them? the tires i have now are 185/65/15. So any suggestions?

Depends on what you want to do with your car. 215's are good if your just cruising around. 225's if your talking autox. As in your other thread, 205 seems to small

That also depends on the tire. For example in Falkens a 205 Azenis is going to be almost just as wide as a 225 Ziex and so on. Auto-x tires are generally going to run wider per size than like an all season.

I personally plan to run a 225/45R16 Falken FK452 on my DD and from who i've talked to I shouldn't run into clearance issues too much.

Something like a 215/45R16 wouldn't be bad though, that'll be closer to stock height. What's the rim width you're going with on the new wheels?

hmm well i will have to get back to you on that on the width of them. im at work now. im planning on putting them on this weekend. it shouldnt look to bad.

my sit's pretty low as is. i like the look on the 16's and besides i got a really really great price on them. i couldnt beat it.

I used to have 17's on my car. Went down to 16's cause I kept slamming pot holes (roads aren't too nice around here). I already had a good ding in one of the rims and I didn't want to keep messing them up.
