I didn’t see anything on here about this, so I guess I’ll post it.
Michelin is currently recalling around 600 Pilot Alpin PA2 ZP 225/50 R17 94H tires. The tires have are safe to drive on, but lack the “DOT” stamping to show they are legal for road use. Bummer.
According to the bulletin, you can just go to where you purchased them or any tire store that sells Michelin and you should be able to get new ones at no cost.
I attached the one sheet we got here at work about it. Again, it’s not a big deal, but at least you can get new tires out of their mistake. Any extra mileage out of tires helps with this crap economy.
