anyone have them? looking at them for my fc, and throwing tein springs on em...just wondering if i could get some feedback on the tokico's..and if not, anything better that may be adjustable for my fc..(not really looking for coilovers.)

I have them on my MR2 with H&R springs. They are amazing.

What are you looking to gain with the setup? I would think having S-Techs on there would cancel out adjustability because the low spring rate wouldn't let you fully take advantage of it.

well from what ive read for my car, the s. techs dont really have that low of a spring rate compared to other setups..im really looking for a good adjustable setup, with a nice set of springs..ive had tein springs on just about every car i had aftermarket springs on, and i like how they felt, and i looked what i read about the tokicos, figured itd be a good match up

fair enough. I wasnt saying it was a bad idea. I figured maybe the RX7 crowd had a good review on it or something. which is awesome. It'l look real good too.

yeah i hope it will look good, and also be effective i don't know any fc owner with that set up or even the springs for that matter, so i guess i'll figure it out once i get them lol

cool man, def keep us updated. I kinda wanted to switch out my H&R springs and try some S-Techs because then my car would look that much better haha, but I don't want to lose performance.

of course.. and yeah i understand what you are saying.. but yeah in my opinion, for what its worth..the s. techs are a good set of springs. but i have no actual comparison for the h&rs.. do you know the spring rate of yours?

I don't off hand. I tried to search a little bit but came up with nothing. Plus I'm not 100% sure if I have the lowering springs or the sport springs.... so either way its hard to compare directly.

if it helps any i have them on my fc :D i love them i just know i need to change my springs i have coupe springs on my vert but the shocks do great!

nice, thats an even better voice for me..what do you usually have them set on? lol believe it or not, i have the adjustable suspension crap on mine, and it still works..but i think the rears are starting to go, so im definitely trying to do my homework on the suspension setup so i do it once and right.u had the same setup on ur vert right? all i gotta do is unplug the wiring at the shocks and it wont give me a problem right?

Just gonna throw some of my input in here. I bought some for my old Supra to keep the TEMS, and they worked brilliantly. Expensive, but worth it. No weird pogo bouncing or anything, and they didn't make any odd noises, etc. Really nice riding.

I have illuminas with Tein H-tech spring on my max. I have the front set at 3 and the rear set at 4. They ride real firm but with my 18s on I bottom out on some of the bumps (I believe because of the springs). Overall the stance is nice and the ride is ok. S-tech are even worst...at least on the max.
