View Full Version : Yay or nay? Grille badge on Audi.

1970 Hamburg Polizei Grille Badge marking their 25th ann. I got it on ebay just because its a pretty damn rare/ cool piece of history. Ran to the hardware store and picked up some fender washers and wing nuts to mount it up but now I cant decided if I really like it on there.

What do you guys think? Im on the fence.

personally i dont think it fits other then the language aspect. Its a cool badge tho

Yea if anyone actually knows what it is. Plus they would have to get the hood open to get it off. If they tore the grille off which is worth more than the badge it really wouldnt surprise me. Im not really worried about it.

I'll be the complete loser here and say, take it off and keep it as history. Don't beat it up, preserve it and keep it safe... or sell it. Sorry, I collect these types of things and military medals so I am biased.
