I might be replacing the Trans on the V8 soon.. since I found one cheap. Gotta see if the rear Diff is messed up though. It was towed w/ two wheels and destroyed the already dying trans :(

My 02' currently has a GIAC X+ chip, ForgeSamco TIP, Forge007 DV. and 2.5" eurosport downpipe and catback, BFI stg2 polyurthane dogbone inserts(wheel hop is a bitch). after i get my tax rebates, going to get a pair of coils, then debating on FMIC or forge core replacement for the SMIC. maybe somewhere down the road ill do a k04. would do a gt28rs but i'm not made out of money =]

Unfortunately I won't be doing much with it since I am soon to be unemployed but the plans are to get a narrowed beam and lower it about an inch or so in the front and an equal appearing drop in the rear. The only purpose is to reduce the body roll a bit. I know it's not water cooled but ehh whatever lol.

Yeah when I restore it I am thinking of preserving the engine that's in it since it's original and dropping in a 1776cc dual carb setup with a better trans. Not all that exspensive, great performance gains, and like you said it doesn't take much.

I think the 1600 dual port engine was 60. Mine is 45 which means I have a top speed of just over 65. 1/4 mile time is roughly 22-23 seconds. I am really thinking of getting a vanity plate that says "0260 ha"

93 they aren't all that exspensive you just have to wait for the right one. This one isn't perfect but it only cost 1,500.

decided to skip PT today so i could get sum work done i got hte mk2 completly sanded down. and i seafoamed the engine plus ordered sum new struts to replace the old blown out ones on there now

Thanks, I just procurred the wider wheels for the poor man's wide body. Porsche turbo twists staggered 18x9 front & 18x10 rear w/ 20mm wheel adapters they should be wide. All, I'm waiting on is the 1552 fender kit, should be out in two months?
This with a new lsd should help my traction issues?

Hopefully soon Ill be getting a new trans for the old Audi.. Pulling the engine, new gaskets, dye the carpet (its stained from PO), Find the shorts in the wiring that are definately there.. Try to take some **** out thats un-needed lol. Then hopefully new wheels/paint down the road. :)

In keeping with the thread I just fixed the gas pedal and the valve stem on one rim now I just need to check a couple fuses and bleed the brake lines and it will be ready for the summer.

I did the k04 and I love it! I just think I have a boost leak some where! UGH!!!

I wish i had some pictures but i repalced all four struts with those new koni streets they were cheap and offer a little more performance then stock. i also had to replace the strut bearings cuz they were trashed. oh and changed the oil . now im faced with the delema of what to do with my vehicles since the mk4 isnt really gettin much intrest and with my ship date growing closer i might have to sell the mk2
