Hand Polished Frame

who has done this by hand? PITA?? Also upkeep on a polished frame?

i have also seen the frames that have been painted, whats the process and whos done it.

i have polished the lips on my fzr it was pretty easy to do just the lips a lot of sand paper and a lot of elbow action and then protecting it was easy and the keep up is no problems. but again thats the lips of my fzr not the frame i have a buddy that does it i can ask him if you like

its not too big a deal, ive done it a few times on diffrent stuff. just mask off around where u want it polished and use a paste type paint stripper then wipe/scrub the old paint off it then u use the sandpaper to actually polish it and after that use a good metal polish the bring out the shine. Upkeep isnt too bad, you can either get it to the way u want it and spray a clear coat on it or just use some metal polish every few weeks

Yeah, its pretty time consuming to do it, definitly a winter project. My buddy did that to his 929rr before he sold it.
