So i just finally decided to go outside and go the store to get some food , and then behold the wrx doesnt kick over , had her out last night was doing fine when we had about 6 inches the road started ran fine...

Any guesses? or ways to prevent gonna put them jumper box on there but i dont think its the battery , could be cuz its turning over pretty slowly

what kind of battery is in the car? It may just be crappy... If you have a big battery though, don't see why. I got a dinky little odyssey and the thing started right up after 3 days of temps around 10*

Do a pop start and just let it charge the battery

I would suspect the battery first.

Only thing is it was fine last night sat in the drive way for like 20 mins with the car talking to a buddy and deciced not to go back out , not lights or anything were left on , and it was fine last night.. im guessing the battery as well but just wired how it would so dead in only 10 hours or so

The extreme cold does funny things to batteries.

^low gas wouldn't make his car turn over slowly.

I mean battery, faulty spark plugs... this is not a common problem for an 05 Subaru to not start besides faulty plugs or a ****ting battery.

Its the freaking battery. You guys do realize an old battery does not like cold? It will go flat over night. On some fuel injected cars, a dead battery that may turn the engine over slowly won't have enough power to power the ECU which in return powers the injectors.

cheap battery

Correct.. The cold can easily kill a battery over night and kill tire pressure as well. Keep an eye on both in this kind of weather. Some ECUs, like my Hydra for example will not even allow the car to start with less then 11 volts. As a bettery dies it mainly loses Amperage but it also drops voltage when a load is applied.

yea i would say its the battery also. the cold cranking amps aren't holding up, it maybe time for a new battery.

yeah, I have the stock battery and I almost thought I was going to have to make that post a few minutes ago, took a good 30 seconds before it caught, I'll be getting a new battery tomorrow.
