Riding to the Sonic Meet April 11th

I was wondering if anyone is planning on riding to the Sonic Meet in Morgantown this year?
I wanted to ride last year but the weather was a bit cold in the morning. If the weather holds up I think im going to ride. Anyone else thinking about riding?

Your best bet is to just meet at one of the meet cruise spots that are already planned and go with them. Maybe just get all the bikes together there and ride as a group.

I was hoping to have the Talon done in time but it wont be so if the weather is good im riding up. I rode up last year it was a little cold in the am and fine for the reast of the day. Plus when the line is like 300 cars long to get into Sonic the bikes can just squeeze on by. :wink:

I dont like riding in the rain. Def dont like it if its gonna be cold. Really really dont like it if its raining, its cold and I have to be in my wet clothes all day at a meet. lol

With no rear fender I wont be riding if its raining. Plus there is a rain date so there wont be one if it rains anyways.

bike handles fine in the rain im not concerned about the handling at all .. i just hate being soaking wet and cold to the bone and im not getting rain gear just to ride in the rain, and i sure as shooting don't have enough room in my dvd sized trunk to keep a suit

I got caught in a down pour at night on the turnpike coming back from KoP last summer and it was such a ****ty ride I said never again.

That was me, on the way there was great. Ride back sucked a little more because I wasn't with the caravan anymore and only with a few buddies and their cars. Did 80 all the way home because I had to keep up due to not knowing directions, passed some people from the meet going slower in their AWD cars which was kinda funny because the rain was pretty bad.

a couple of our buddies rode down with us. A harley, aprilla (sp?), and an older kz1000 that was streched. They parked their bikes under the horse and buggy stations at walmart though.
