You're still going to get heat transfer from the studs and intake ports. Probably not as much if the gasket does really work, but still.

i have put them on all my honda's and whoever says it does nothing is 100% wrong. they are dyno proven to provide power and have seen sometimes even 10whp. you can feel the difference on the intake manifold. I am not sure of the thickness, but on every car i have installed one which is prob close to 50 now, i have never needed any longer studs or bolts. def worth the little amount of money they cost

Ok, here is the deal with these insulator gaskets, they will limit the intake manifolds temperature rise time and also allow the intake to cool off quicker then your traditional gasket. On a turbo car, thats pretty much all there good for because the intake air temperature is so hot and will do very little for heat soaking. For an N/A car, this could be beneficial all around considering the intake air charge wont be anywhere near the temps of which a turbo car runs at but somthing still tells me that your intake manifold is still going to reach its regular temp. They tend to be pretty pricey though, and little power is picked up. I picked one up for $40.00 a little while back to test it out, I didnt see too much of anything gained on my logs, but who's to say the manifold wasnt at its thermal capacity when I started logging. I did notice the much quicker manifold cool down which you could benefit from on the dyno or the track. I plan on keeping mine just for that reason alone.

They work. They're worth the money.

Everything I hear is good as long as they actually fit. There are a lot of companies out there making products similar to this that aren't cut perfectly. Anyway, I will be buying one for my car soon.

the Password:JDM gasket is the only one i've had experience with. it fit great and definitely kept the IM cooler.

I have one of these waiting to go on my car. I've never heard anything bad about them.

Doesn't do ****! My engine still bakes.

I have a Hondata B16 intake manifold gasket if someone wants it really cheap...
