I think there may already be a thread like this. I'm an ex-owner of a 03.5 MSP. Awesome car and i miss it everyday. One day i'll get back into a Mazdaspeed vehicle.

Body has 144k.

94 motor, trans and open (for now) rear have 100k.

GT28 from an S15 on an HKS manifold, bull**** band-aids (BEGI FPR and Bipes).

OEM 14" BBS w/Azenis.

I have a pile of parts here to go on, once it gets warmer!

Look for a member journal, once all that goes on (Kirk roll bar w/door bars, frame rail braces, mazdaspeed MM, new carpet and interior pieces and miscellaneous bull****).

Looking for coilovers, 15*9 6UL, Megasquirt, etc, etc if you come across anytyhing!

supman .. Yeah, his MSP was gorgeous. That's another one that bit the dust thanks to a bad accident.

kz9's MSP is too much cosmetic rice for me, though.

all you really have to do is hybrid KLDE block/bottom end and KLZE Top end/heads and without doing anything internally you could have 10psi all day

I have a mazdaspeed mx6 the lip is being painted as we speak but if you can't wait till i get it back and post pics then check out my cardomain

I helped put a cpe intake on a MS3 last week. I really liked the car, still didn't get a ride in it but it sounded great. I've wanted a MS3 since i had my msp and after messing with this one i want my msp back :(

it's a fun car, don't get me wrong. there are a few things i can point out about the ms3 that bugs me, however i'm picky. I usually just tell ppl to test drive one and overlook the power aspect to focus on the little stuff like shifting. for example, a 3 mount configuration on a 280ft/lb fwd vehicle causes issues. I personally wouldn't buy a used ms3, North Penn imports has a hand full of 09s. you will never know if the owner before you were driving it like a race car driver or its their first turbo or first manual transmission. There are only a few reason why someone would sell/trade in a car with less than 3 years old/low miles.

really good actually...no pics yet--- maybe someday I will update my member journal.

as for the ms3 vs. mz3 topic-- my GF drives a 07 2.3 Mazda3 auto and its a really nice little car. It makes really nice low end torque for what it is and is much smoother and more comfortable to drive around town than my jerky/torquey MS3. Maybe once I get a fmic and a professional tune that will improve.
