I had to use this for a Business Plan Project in my 100 level business class....We needed to create a proto-type of our product/invention and I choose to use GoogleSketch

you can download templates online too, there is a mean WRX one somewhere i use to have....

My brother-in-law uses that all the time for the furniture he builds. Cool program.

Thats pretty crazy ken, now start adding colors, and make it look really realistic!

you must've missed the dark grey for the rubber and the metallic skin on the rim itself...

cool, and free... and difficult to use

i imported a jpg of a "blueprint" of an srt-4 neon and its a pain in the ass to outline... i may give it a go with another vehicle w/ simpler lines

you realize 99% of the fun is making them yourself.

I don't have a use for 3d models at all... i just want to play with the software.

that being said, gonna give this a shot... don't expect much ;)

I do agree half of the fun is making them yourself.

I do this everyday at work, using higher end software, I love the 3D warehouse. I can design/draft a car and go to the warehouse and get buildings and other various background models to make photo-realistic renderings and animations.

Plus, I think it's fun to take someone elses design and modify or improve it.

I remember getting a 0 for my 3D models when I was being critiqued freshman year in my design archy class. A lot of people hate on the program because it's simple to use compared to 3D Max and such and still looks good.

i remember being really good at autodesk inventor which is a 3d modeling program that is quite a bit more intense, but ive never used the googlesketch.
