Anyone know of any touch free / touchless automatic car washes in the West Chester / Exton area's? I had a bunch in my old neighborhood in Huntingdon Valley. The closest thing I've found here is the car wash off of 113, just east of 100 in Chester Springs.. at the Exxon I think it is, but that's not touchless.

Any help is appreciated...

X 1000....Id love to know about this also! I know the one in Huntingdon Valley pretty well. The owner is cool. I have not found anything close to it over this way. I was actually thinking of opening my own! There are a LOT of nice a$$ cars around my area (rt202-29-23-30-100..etc) that need a non-automatic car wash!

None of those are Touch Free Automatic Car Washes (That I am aware of). Buggy Bath is manual and the one next to KFC is a regular car wash with brushes.

In Huntingdon Valley area, there's on on County Line Road at the Getty, north of Davisville Road.

There's another on York Road in Warminster, 1 light before Street Road if you're going East on York.

There's one on Bustleton too I think, I dunno if it's still there. Near Grant if I recall correctly.

Not sure about that one, I don't head down that way often. Hmmm...

One of the guys at work mentioned one in Coatesville. If you take 30 West, get off at 82 and go South. You make a right onto Bus. 30 West and at the 2nd light, there's one on the right I think.. Rainbow Car Wash or something .. ? I'm going to check it out, but it's not in such a nice area....

Just break out the bucket and soap. I just got done washing both my cars. The hose is just barely not frozen for rinsing. And I used bathwater for my soap bucket. It's not that bad.

No hose here. I live on my own ... in an apartment. I have a parking lot, not a driveway lol.

Yah it's gotta be touchless. I'm not taking my soft top Wrangler through a place with brushes... heh

theres the one before the kfc/taco bell on market street that you can pull your car into the bay and wash yourself....or go up to the next light or so past the kfc and its called Petes Express or something like that. haha my car goes through there whenever its lookin a little dirty.

best parts about Petes is that you can go through for as cheap as $3 and the most expensive is like 12 or something AND you dont have to get out of the car the whole time which is always fun to watch. they also have free vacuums for you to use if you just pull your car back around the front after going through

My Camaro won't go through Petes.. rear tires are too wide and my exhaust is too low (I hit and had to back out lol).

I just went through the Exxon automatic wash on 113 east of 100. It worked fine actually, in the Wrangler. I did get leaked on though.. fawk.. lol.

I can't think of any touchless ones in Exton/Downingtown. There's a touchless in Lansdale, but that's probably a little far for you to go - http://www.villageautorepair.com/

Yah that Lansdale one is perfect, just the type I am used to out in Bucks/MontCo... But that **** doesn't exist here.. 'cept in Coatesville ... but agoodall is saying it's not too bad there lol. My buddy at work said: "It's cold out, so don't worry. But once it gets warm, then you may have to keep an eye out" .. lol.

I was planning on going last night around 10pm. And knowing my luck, I would've seen the arsonist and he would've shot me and my female passenger for witnessing his gang initiation lol. I appreciate the offer!

From memory, it's not that bad right in that area. But if you take 82 South and make a left onto Bus 30 and not a right, that's when it gets kinda shady.

I know its out of your area but the best touchless wash around that I've found is the one in Qtown on 309. I've tried the one in Lansdale and it doesn't get near the amount of dirt off that the one in Qtown does. just an FYI if you're even in the area.
