No matter what I do, I keep getting leaks between the cat and midpipe. I really havent tried a lot..besides re tightening it over and over. Whats the deal? Maybe I need better gaskets..But should I loc-tite the bolts?

You could cut and reweld on new flanges if you want to go through all the work.

Get a thicker gasket and then lock-tite 'em. You have to remember how hot that exhaust gas is and having it constantly flow through restricive chambers making all the weak links expand and then contract on a smaller scale when they cool, so lock-tite may be your last option, but still an option.

The exhaust is..3 months old. Nice flanges. Hangers are all in the right spots to. Im gonna try the above ^^ thicker gaskets and some lock tite.

well once the gasket leaked once it may have burnt it depending on the type of gasket. i would put in a better gasket with some exhaust sealer on it for good measure. locktite wont really do much since it isnt high temp. if you read the directions on lock tite it tells you too loosen it by heating it and it breaks the bond of the locktite.

Before installing the new gasket if the old one burnt up a bit and left some residue then get some high grit sandpaper and sand it off. Then install the new gasket should help for the new gasket to hold better.
