this is not a FS ad, i would have posted in the correct forum. it's just a couple questions for you VW guys.
i've got an '87 Audi 4000S. it sits in my woods. it has a clean interior, a fairly clean exterior, a buttload of miles and runs like a champ. haha.
what's something like this worth to those who are into VW's and want a reliable cheap daily driver? it's not quattro, it's not a turbo model, it's not pretty  in the Honda world, people love buying up '91 and older civics and everything to use as daily drivers because of the fact that they're beaters. will a VW owner have the same plans for my 4k? is it worth keeping for myself and running into the ground or would it be wise to put it on the market and get a couple bucks for it? what's the market like on these things?
my dad is an old school VW guy. he has worked as a parts manager for VW, Porsche, and Audi for 30+ years. he tells me the car is worth its weight in gold as a daily driver/beater. what do the modern VW tuners think about that?
