Well where can i start, its not attractive at all. Has been rolled back about 300,000 miles but IT ONLY SAYS 250,000! I hope you dont have a girl friend or boyfriend because they will leave you when they see what you are driving. Maybe even though if it was fast and ugly it would be tolerable...but its slow as death...zero to 60 is about 0 to 9999 sec. God forbid a school bus tries to pass you your srewed. It needs a stupid mass air flow sensor cause volvo is sooo good that they break sensors so its only getting 19mpg. So instead of driving something bad ass and getting 19mpg your only getting 19 in a chick magnet volvo 240. It also needs a heater motor. That sounds innocent but its a ****en 2 day job and the whole interior has to come out. So it makes a Extememly annoying squealing and squeaking noise whenever the fans on. The Ac is not charged so ur screwed if it ever gets hot outside. IT has the fake leather because volvo it too cheap to make real leather and its cold in the winter and your ass gets glued to it in the summer like a fat kid on free cake. Its a 5speed and the shifting is sloppy like all volvo's, the dash is also cracked because they designed it o so well that they all crack, It needs rear shoes because apparently its better to have shoes in the rear rather than just use the pads. The wires for the rear defroster and the rear wiper are broken because its designed to break after like 3 opens of the hatch. I also think the car has aids..but im not sure. Its missing some trim pieces,but the biggest problem of all is that the wiper blades are old and need replacement. May need an iol change because it hasn't seen one in about 35000 miles (give or take some) and let me tell you...they were a babied 35 so my mechanic said its ok.

That's my first car, but a wagon.. lol. I had an '88 240DL 5 speed. That was the ish. Had almost 300k miles on it. Ran amazing. A stupid mechanic (when I was 16) forgot to put the fuel line back on while doing engine work. Turned the key, sprayed gas onto the hot exhaust manifold, and .. well.. good R.I.P. Volvo :'(
