I need a bung installed. My car is too low and the way the sensor hangs I keep knocking them out. I have been calling around a few places and came up with an average of about $80. Sound good?

So who wants to do some welding. I'll buy lunch or something.

$80 sounds kind of steep for a tiny weld like that... I got an o2 bung welded on my Spec V for like $25 out in Kennett Square.

i'm assuming you'll be pulling the pipe off? if not the car would need to be up on a lift. i know i got my wideband bung welded in by my mechanic for $15 bucks (left him $20). i also know of a couple people on the site who weld and i'm sure would be happy to do it for $20 or so.

If you take the pipe off and bring it to me I can drill for the bung and weld it up for you as long as it is mild steel (not ss). $20 is what I usually charge. I have done four wb bungs so far and not a single complaint yet. If you haven't yet picked up the bung summit sells one fairly cheap with a "plug" that you could use for the old o2 opening.
