I totaled my mk3 golf a couple weeks ago, and now looking at a 91 jetta to just get me around town till I can make some money over the summer. I did have some aftermarket and a lot of new parts, and was curious what I could swap over.

mostly suspension, my golf has a brand new h&r 60/40 cup kit and all new poly bushings. I know people swap the obd1 2.0 into the mk2's and that's an option as this jetta has high miles. But i don't think I'd own it for long and if I was going to dump money into I'd rather go with a vr swap

I was pretty sure the struts/springs swapped, I thought I saw somewhere that the control arms were longer but it wasn't an issue, can anyone confirm that? it would be nice to have fresh bushings on this car

The suspension will mos def swap over! I did it from my mk3 to my mk2! It has to be a 2.0 body tho!!! It can't be a vr!
