To those who have slammed cars with very little ground clearance: how do you do your oil changes?

i can't get to the jack points in the front/sides of my car being that it's too low and i don't have access to a lift (not even sure if the lift arms would fit under the sideskirts anyway!).

ride onto blocks and wood to get under there.

I have a really low profile jack that works, or you could roll onto some wood to raise the car up a bit.

I used to work the scissor jack underneath and lift it up enough to get the jack under it.

same as everyone else said, drive it onto some 2x4's. And if thats not enough, drive onto one 2x4, then have 2 stacked in front of them and pull onto them.

I use the scissor jack that is with my spare tire, jack it up enough to get a regular jack under it.

At home I have a low profile jack that just barley fits under my front crossmember. To get my car on a lift I have to have someone lift up on the fenders a bit or use a jack/boards.

or you can just be like me and not change the oil wait till it blows up then buy a new car!

lol this is why I never want to truly slam my car... too much work to change the oil lol.

i'm not slammed... but i also don't have enough clearance on stock height on my srt-4 to get the jack under. i hit a jack point with the scissor jack that came w/ the car until i can get the jack under

yeah, you'll spend more time just getting the jack in place rather than doing the actual oil change itself

I'll probably use the board method on monday and see how that works out. thanks to everyone for your input.
