No o2 sensors?

Cel popped up on my wrx for o2 sensor missing. What damage can be caused from running no o2 sensor on a wrx with a full exhaust?

I wouldnt worry about it. Ive had both O2 sensors fail at different points. I drove around for like 3 months with the CEL on each time cuz i knew it wasnt a big issue. just take care of it when u can. I dont think wrxs have limp mode when the cel is on, so it may hurt ur MPG a bit, but i should be ok.

And did ur sensor literally fall out, or did it just fail? (ie do u have a hole in ur exhaust right now?) and which sensor is it? before or after cat?

I have a catless dp and the o2 fell out the one before isnt working.

Your car is going to probably run really rich, but it really won't damage anything.

My car is only running a little rich surprisingly. Is it possible to run a catless dp with an o2 sensor after. I hear the o2 sensor gets wrecked really quick like that.

Yeah it's definitely possible. The secondary O2 is kind of like a "check", it's the primary O2 you really have to worry about.

ya, thats what I have. Turbo xs catless DP. then the cat, then my O2 sensor. The wire will get cut eventually if u dont make the wire longer. That happened to me the first time. But o2 sensors are hella expensive to replace. My b4 cat sensor failed and costed $600 for a new one. I hear theirs also a way to re route the wire so that u dont even need the sensors. but idk about that too much. I would however get something to plug that hole in ur pipe if i were u. But no, this stuff isnt a big deal and can be taken care of w/e u want.

silly goose, you need the o2 in order to run properly on an injected engine..

tru, Im just giving advice from my experience. I never ran w/o a sensor, just with a broken one. and once it was fixed my mpg increased by a good margin.

and you are not gonna pass inspection without o2 sensor

I have an 03 wrx with TBE runing no cats at all... my cel is on as well for SEcCONDARY 02 sensor which i know someone else said, as long as the sensor you have on ur DP is ok ur cool..... but ur gonna need to find a shop that'll give you stickers cause technically you wont pass. As far as damge goes your not doing any, hope that helps :)
