240sx ROM TUNER anyone?

Does anyone know a place that does rom tunes for nissan 240sxs for boosted setups in the Philly area or South Jersey area? Please share the wealth of info in need a base tune bad!

That's why you buy a cheapo second ecu and send out the spare to have it tuned. That's what I did.

Your right i should do that. Did you hear anything about CALUM Real time ecus? i heard great things about them. But wasn't sure if anyone here used his ecus or not

I have heard great things, but from what I understand it's a DIY program. So unless you know what you're doing, it's useless.

Yea it is a DIY ecu but he can set you up with a base tune and you can change it from there. The reason why i want the rom tune locally is to have it dyno checked too. I hope someone knows a place around here!

I wouldn't be so hung up on the local part. I prefered to send mine to someone who tunes MY ecu ALL the time.

I just took my car to R/T Tuning to have it dynoed after.

I use nistune. Fully programmable and have the ability to change on the fly. i use it on my sr and they make diff applications for diff ecu's and motors. it is major expensive though about 500 dollars but its a once and done process if you ever change your setup just hook it up to your computer and change whatever you want around.

i know this thread is about a year old but since somebody brought it back from the dead.......my boy actually does rom tunes. he did my setup. he can even tune you in real time and his prices are good

We ROM tune S13 KA-T setups SOHC & Dual Cam., S13 SR20DET ECU's #62, E5 and 63, RB20's and Z32 300zx. We also have licenses for Nistune and a calum real-time board. Gimme a call we'll get you setup. A custom rom is sooooo much better than a mail order one.
