I just bought my girl a 2001 honda civic ex coupe, It is automatic so there is not really much that can be done to it but I was thinking of just dropping it and throwing rims on it tinting the windows you know the usual. Any other suggestions?

what i'm thinking to do is a 2 inch drop on a set 01 ex hammer types polished instead and in the middle of each spoke where its painted grey repaint color of car which is red.

Thats awesome, I've been wanting to get those wheels and paint them red for a few months now...do it, should look great.

you'll definitely be replacing the struts, lower control arm bushings, and front motor mount to start.(used to work for honda)

i like jdmfrees ideas. ksports can be tempermental but i agree with a dumped ex on blades.

I vote auto to auto conversion, H23, H22, B18b, B18c there are a bunch you can do and its not as hard as you might think, I guess you could do a V6 auto swap now as well, with a mini-van motor, hasport sells the mounts... All depends on how much she/you want to spend.

i think ive seen it with an h22 and b18...the b18 was in philipines but the h22 is in us. seen a video on youtube... by the way were those race neuspeeds cause i'm running neuspeed race springs and tokico blues on mine

ohh and i would go with a drop rims and lip kit. thats what i did with mine

Dumping her car on the floor and putting a set of wheels on it will make her hate it after a few months, guaranteed. It's just a waste of money, just let her drive the thing around.
