Go on Craigslist and search for "car buyers." I've done that twice now and had folks come out to me and pick up the car. I got $200 for a Talon shell, and by shell I mean unibody, and passenger side door with misc. carpeting throughout.

it won't be a shell of any sort... its going to be chopped up pieces of the cab and possibly frame

glenside, you'll need a truck...

i'm not finished, hell... i haven't started... but i will be in the garage cutting the cab apart tomorrow. As i said... i'm not sure about the frame... depends... but i'll probably end up cutting in into 1/3'rds... i'm keeping the glass, and doors, hood, quarters, etc... stuff worth money to me. the frame and rusted cab... i could care less

probably be done by the end of the week... i can't wait, should be fun.

Mission Metals. Money goes to charity. I will get the number for you.

Edit...I got the number for you. Call Wesley 215-932-0712. I haven't seen him since scrap prices dropped, but I also haven't needed him.

just be careful who comes to get it....alot of those guys have sticky fingers....we do our own scrap at work and ask other scrappers to leave when they come on site....we have been hit many times by scrappers that come back and rob us later. Just some advice.

Scrap is way down now anyway so i would expect the stealing to increase.

If he deals with Wes, he won't have a problem with stealing.

i've learned two things today... i need longer blades, the 6" only clears a section of sheet metal and ends up bouncing off another from behind...

and glass is a bitch to get out...

ok, three things... don't attempt to remove a windshield with a sledge hammer... while this is fun... 40+ year old glass doesn't break like new windshields, instead you get splinters of glass everywhere

hope you werent talking about me. i might not be big on this forums but i am on IFX andka-t.org along with 100% ebay feedback. many 240 guys know me and i am an honest guy that has help out plenty of times

scrap is down but i am up around that way a few times a week and if i can pick up a decent amount jsut to pay for my fuel that day it would be fine with me

scrap would consist of, most likely the frame of a '72 c/10 and the cab

Next sunday afternoon, come and get it :)

i listed the hood and fenders up on craiglist and no biters... so whatever.

I'm removing the rear axle saturday and sunday morning.

truck will not be cut up, is up a hilly driveway and has no wheels/tires to roll. Bonus friendship points if you can get my project truck from my neighbor's driveway into the garage. its a straight shot backwards, but the truck doesn't run (previous electrical issues, battery is def dead by now)... so it'll need some kinda pull and push.

send me a PM if you're interested in picking up the parts truck. If you can't do it this coming weekend, the following is fine as well.

Definitely try to get paid for it. I just got $75 for a dsm shell with nothing in it, no suspension, no driveline, no interior.

awesome... lets try this again... not sure if the guy is going to come through that bought the parts truck and i need it out this weekend. He was supposed to be by last saturday but never heard from him.

So if anyone is available to come sunday, or if anyone knows any junk yards that i could call saturday to come out sunday please pass along their information.
