WRX Hybrid?

I was driving in DE yesterday and I saw a blue new stlye (08-09) wrx but on the back it had a hybrid emblem. Like the same material that the wrx emblem was made out of. It had the wrx hood and 10 spoke rims on it.

Does subaru even make a hybrid? I was so confused when i saw this car. Anyone have info on it?

almost possitive it was a wrx. pretty sure i saw dual exhaust (dono if that matters) had the hood scoop and about 10 spoke graphit colored rims.

i wonder how much less power a hybrid wrx would make....seems like an awful idea to me. if they did make it, they get a thumbs down for demeaning that car.

I was just going to post that..it was probably just the partial zero emission vehicle symbol. :roll:

nope it said hybrid. The hybrid was on the left rear side of the car. And im almost positive that it had the pzev emblem on the right side. I was too distracted looking at the "hybrid" emblem. My 2 buddies were in the car with me and i made them look at it too.

The subaru web site doesn't say anything about any impreza or wrx hybrids.

Back in high school, my buddies and I thought it would be funny to put an accord emblem on the civic I had. Maybe this guy thought it would be funny to put a hybrid emblem on his wrx?

Nah there's no WRX hybrid.

I saw an older model Cadillac STS with a Hybrid badge on it parked at a Wawa. I laughed...the driver gave me a dirty look...I laughed again.

Obviously someone is selling Hybrid badges like those GT-R badges people put on Mustangs and Civics. :lol:

yea from what i heard they have not realesed a hybrid but they are producing a diesel impreza but its not available in the states

Go test drive a hybrid highlander. It is very fast and not even just for an SUV.

a lot of the newer top end hybrid models perform better than their normal partners because of this (although the battery still adds a lot of weight)

yeah I suw a hummer H1 with a hybrid sticker on the back window! lol i wanted to get a picture but didnt have the time. B careful with stickers and badged though, ppl take them the wrong way! ha my uncle had an H2 with a huge sticker on the back window that said "hum this" and someone smashed out his back window
