so i finally got around to taking pics off my cell.... and remember last week when it was icy as all hell? well i had to drive to the train station and of course had no time to clean my car off, so drove it 'as is' lol (cause i wasnt gonna risk being late)

no vision out the right side at all, both my mirrors frosted over, and my rear window frosted over (and very thick, my defrost button sulked in shame)

did i kinda feel bad doing it? kinda.... did i get there on time? yes.... did i have any close calls? not at all, i was able to drive in a manner where i didnt need to look right lol.... are you all gonna flame me for being a retard? of course, but i thought i'd share anyway :lol:

so yes, i know doing this was "dangerous" or whatever..... so discuss without hating?

edit: whoa, i just noticed that i have a stream of ice coming from the left windshield wash sprayer..... good thing i didnt think to try that :)

been there. lol. actually yours is better than i thought it would be. i used to have a 30 minuite drive to work and on the really icy/snowy days my car would start to defrost itself about 15 minutes in. it sucked. no matter how many ice scrapers i bought i always managed to lose or break them. i'd find myself digging through my back seat for something to use... finding only an old credit card, a beat CD, and an "i tried that last time it's already empty" bottle of HEET. haha. i just said F it and started driving. smart? nah. necessary because of my lack of preparation? yup. lol.

Been there done that numerous times. It can get hairy at some points though when trying to turn not seeing if anyone is comming.

yeah i had that tiny crack to see if cars were coming but changing lanes was a whole different story haha
