Its that time in my poor old dd's life to scrap her, Its a 92 nissan sentra xe, completely stock, has everything it came with from the factory less the stereo. Car is way too rusty and has too many suspension problems to re inspect at the end of the month.

Now i was thinking of just taking it to a auto wrecking yard back in erie when i go to pick up my gsx, just wondering if i should take out anything before i scrap it, or just leave it all there for the scrap yard to deal with. the interior is still in good condition though the seats have a few stains, and the engine has 140k and doesnt burn a drop of oil. Just wondering if i should strip a few things off or leave it as a whole.

not looking to get a whole lot of $$ 300 would be nice but id be happy even getting 200 for it.

is that a ka24e in it?

btw, i dont think the scrap yard is giving as much money for cars as they used to. scrap metal took a big drop lately

ive tryed to sell it as a whole a few times before, honestly if someone has interest in it ill put it up for sale. But i just want SOME money for it.

It has a GA16DE 5 speed clutch has about 60k on it, like i said before car is mechanically sound and the interior is still in good condition, but the body and suspension are ****ed!

i just took my 92 sentra xe to the junkyard a few months ago. same deal as yours, way too much rust to be worth fixing so it could be inspected. it had the typical door jam and rucker rust. Harry's U Pull It in Pennsburg gave me $400 for it because it was a drivable import. that was when dirty steel scrap was $12.50/100lb. now i doubt you'll even get $150 from a scrap yard.

as far as taking anything off of it before you scrap it... i wouldn't waste any time. there's nothing that B13 owners want from an XE. i had all the SE-R stuff on mine and i tried to sell the XE interior and random other parts and i couldn't get a penny for anything.
