How do you people feel about it? Anyone go to PHS who has a say on the whole thing? I graduated in '01 and I think its nuts that this hasn't been resolved yet...

Yeah dude I feel bad for my Brother, They keep messing around with the Junior Prom and I'm friends with alot of Seniors. I don't think they are going to get off much time at all for the holidays and there is still no end in sight. Yesterday there was about 60-70 teaches out front of Pennsbury.

Buncha BS! Glad I graduated from Tech in 03. But I hear their contract is almost up... so they might be going on strike soon.

Pennsbury Class of 04. But yeah its gonna end on the 21st or 23rd ah heck something with a twenty cause they limited it to a number because of the whole bensalem thing a few years back. Tim I feel sorry for your brother for what he does with his time now. If it was me I would be working on developing cold fusion and such. But thats just me and I have no free time in college to do that. But the lady I work with is in the school board and she says that they are having talks with the teachers every few days but things arent looking good.

My time in truman was MUCH more eventful, what with the cops being called into our lunch room multiple times, one of the football players knocking a cop over the table with a punch, and all that jazz. You kids had it easy in that school. I laugh when I hear about how "bad" it is nowadays.

And yeah, Truman's teachers don't go on strike. Most of them are paid over 70k/yr. They've got some of the best teachers in that school, just that over half the population of the school doesn't care about being there.

Hell, I know 5 of the guys there are getting over 120k/yr. They got NOTHING to complain about. 120k/yr with SUMMERS OFF! That's really only working maybe half a year!

Teachers are so full of it. They need to STFU and get back to work.

it is so dumb for them to be on strike...i was looking at the teachers salaries the other day, most of them at PHS are making $89,507. They need to think about what its doing to the kids that theyre supposed to be teaching everything to. What kind of role model does a striking teacher teach these kids?

You do it for 'maybe half a year' (wrong, btw). Coming from a family full of teachers I know for a fact how wrong that is, and that it requires far more work and intelligence than they are given credit for by people like you. Please avoid such ridiculous blanket statements.
