im the middle of my 4-5 lug conversion and big brake kit on the s14, when i go to put the new front hubs on. they wont go on. i tap them a bit with a mallet and nothing, i get a caliper out and measure them and they seem to be apx.2/16" smaller than the origenal 4lug that was on there?!? the 5lug's are tc sportline. they say s13 on the box but as far as i know they are the same.

anyone have experiance with this?

I've never heard of tc sportline 5 lugs. I have ichibas on my s13. However, there is something different from s13 to s14, but I think it may only have to do with the size of the studs, not anything to do with the bearing as far as I know. However, I'm pretty sure you can't use s13 hubs on an s14 because there is some difference, I just can't remember what it is. idk

yea, some companies offer a s13/s14 conversion without the option to choose which one, while other require you to choose which gen you have. im guessing that the s14 uses slightly larger bearings than the s13. ill work it all out monday.

Shouldn't be any difference casue you can use S14 5-lug on an S13......U might have Q45 5 lug setup...I'd check it out.

There's a 3 mm size difference between S13 and S14 hubs. S13 fronts are like 3 mm smaller thats why S13 guys have swap the whole S14 front upright onto their cars when they go five lug. So basically you need to get new hubs that are the right diameter. If i remember correctly, S13 bearings are like 29mm (~1 1/8th") and s14 bearings are 32mm (~1 1/4")....I think... But I know theres a 3mm diffenece for sure.

Cliffnotes: S13 Hub Bearings are 3mm (~1/8th") smaller than S14 bearings.
