My friend wants to sell hers...its pretty mint.....she's talking $250-300 do they go for that much when you can get a new 8g with 2 yr for $199?

id say 100-150 tops... i got my 8gig for 250... plus you can get a new 3g for 199 or 299 with contract.

Yeah you get it for 199 with a contract. Without the contract the price is ridiculous. I've seen them in the 800-900 range, new, without signing anything.

The 3g iPhone is $700+ to buy without a contract... so thats really the price you've got to look at. The old iPhone's do sell for $250+ because you dont have to commit to a 2 year contract when buying.

You can get a new 3g iPhone with a 2 year contract for $200, but you're also committing to 24 months of service at an average of $100 a month as well.

Unlocked 8GB iphones are on craigslist from 200$-350$ depending on condition.

Be lucky to get close to 200$ for a used 1st gen 4gb iphone.

I got my 8gb off C-list for $150 BUT I consider myself very lucky to get it for that price. Chances are you wont find an 8gb for less then 200.00. Hell i've seen broken ones go for (or at least, list for) the price of new ones.

Just keep looking and maybe you'll find the slightly cute college girl from out of town that isn't up on used-market prices for popular electronics, and get a good deal :thumbup:
