i am trying to decide where and the best way to mount this catch can.
has anyone done this on a wrx?
where did you decide to put and how did you mount it in the spot you chose?

Mine are mounted on the passenger side strut tower. Lots of room there when you relocate the stock boost solenoid / and bracket

Thats where my friend had his STi. But I have just a WRX with not a lot of mods. But I keep getting a lot of blow by, so the catch can will allow me to see exactly how much.
When I looked at that spot in my car compared to the STi it seemed a bit different. I couldn't quite see how to get it suspended in that massive empty area. Or maybe that's because I am not looking to move other things around :bigeek:

i have an extra bracket from an abc (txs sent me an extra) that might be useful... when you take that black cover off over the solenoid, etc, you can mount it there somehow... i'd have to see it to make sure it would work but you're welcome to it...

Here's mine. I just took the pics with my cell phone so they aren't that great but you should get the idea. Its a Perrin can mounted where they recommend it in front of the battery. It's a nice product and very easy to install.

i got fortunate tonight and i saw a little bolt that was just chillin out doin nothing right near the hole that goes into the fender for my cold air intake. so i took it out and it was the perfect size to get the catch can in there. so i wiggled it in and now its finally installed!
thank you so much for the offer of ther bracket though!
