Hey guys. I'm looking to contact a lawyer about some legal advice. I don't care to discuss it in here but it has to do with a previous employer trying to rip me off. Looking to see where I stand in my situation and if I even have a case against them. I'm hoping for it to be free or close to free since I'm only looking for advice currently, and I'd be willing to hire them later if it comes down to it.

Most lawyers offer a free consultation visit. Depending on whether you will be filing claims with the EEOC and the PHRC, i think Schnader would be best in helping you. its a big firm but they really do a great job. http://www.schnader.com Their phone number is on the bottom.

pennyslvania human relations commission, and equal employment opportunity commission. If you think you got fired for the wrong reasons, and have backed wages and such, first thing you should do is file a complaint with those two commissions. you can file them at the same time, just go to the PHRC office in phila and get some forms filled, and on one of forms it should ask if you would like to dual file with the EEOC or something along those lines.
