The first car I ever modified was a 1989 Ford Taurus SHO. I wish I had pics but I was in High School and digital cameras were for rich people, 1998.

No pics of mine do to lack of a digital camera in the late 90's. The first was a 1994 Jeep Wrangler. I did simple stuff like an upgraded center storage bin, new soft top and bigger wheels/tires. I also added some better shocks soon after the rims and tires.
The first "performance" car was a 1998 Mustang GT (now you know why performance was in quotes, lol). I did a Saleen Racecraft 3 suspension kit, a CAI, rims/tires and brakes. I used to race it with some friends at FAT events at Limerock. The car was slow, but was a lot of fun to toss around on the track and really helped me to learn how to drive.

92 240sx. after owning 2 trucks, i finally picked this thing up for 600 dollars with a salvage title. got it reconstructed, and drove it all over. i loved the car so much, and had no idea what i had until i sold it. all i did to it when i had it was a short shifter, 17s, and took out the crappy ass interior. oh and also put in a nice headunit speakers amp and a JL sub. after i sold it for a STUPID 900 dollars, i quickly found out how hard it is to find another cheap rust free s13... now i have a rusty 89, ka-t. oops

you might be able to say my mazda b2000 was my 1st project car... all i really did to it was tint and wheels though. not really a project car... but i did have it before the 240. its in the background.
but i guess overall, the red honda quad was my very 1st project. lol

No pics on this computer but my first was an 88 RX7. GXL model, so NA, but all the luxuries and stock LSD. Bought it when I was 15 for $150 (yes 150). We got it from the original owners. Twas black on gray, 5spd, only like 12x,xxx miles. I miss that car. Was my only rx7 that didn't break down.

thats sweet. i did the same thing. 2002 when i was in 11th grade, i got a 91 SHO. and started doing some things to it. i made custom a intake, exhaust. the car was loaded and mint. i miss it. it was pretty fast. i will admit for a ford, it was decent

My first car and first project was a 93 Volvo 850 GLT. My dad's friend was going to junk it, so I got it for $250. It took all summer to get the thing back on the road and legal, but it was pimp, and I wish I would have never gotten rid of it for the turbo version.
I don't have any good pics, but here it is next to my friends R

My first car was a 93 ford Taurus which is what I learned all my audio knowledge on. My first modding for performance was my last car, 93 Pontiac sunbird.

first project was 95 mustang, was my dads car and i bought it from him at 16 he needed something better on gas. Put on 17" cobra r rims, intake and a new exhaust i had it from 40,000 miles and got rid of it with 160,000 miles so it had a good run.

First car I did anything with performance wise was a 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R. I put on a jwt pop charger and a topspeed header. I put some mobile one in her and 1000 miles later I got rod knock. Sold it for $700. The thing handled like a go kart. I will have another one before I die.
