Need tires for my new wheels. 15X7s. Ive been looking at all season performance tires (ya i know) sizes like 195/45 195/50 205/50. I plan on being moderately low, but not AS low as I am now. I also cant go real low profile because I dont like the look, dont like the ride or the affect on wheels. want something with a good sidewall for DD...what do u suggest size wise?

on my 15x6.5" rims up front I run 205/50/15 Kumho Extasa AST All Seasons. They work well, but I get no tire wear in the front unless I drive hard since I'm mid engine.
I would honestly do a 205 tire....Being a 7" rim, I don't know if you could maybe even do 215... as far as sidewall, for comfort, I would say go with a 50 or maybe even a 55... depends on what you can get ya know?
Anyway my recommendation based on what I have seen, I would do 205/50/15s
GL man, let us know what you come up with.

205 50
Its decently wide for grip but it will still be very easily chuckable and planted. I sat in in my friend's STO with a 205 50 15 Dunlop Direzza and it had great grip but he could still make the car slide when he wanted to, and he had great things to say about the tire itself.

Alot depends on your springs stiffness and shocks damping capabilities. This greatly effects how your tires feel comfort wise. Most audi's, lexus', and infinities come with 235/50-55 so 205/50-55 are nice compromise for comfort and handling.

Coil overs....well unless your going to get 60-65 side wall ratios not much is going to help :/ 205 55 are you best bet to improve ride quality and have good handling. They will give you the biggest sidewall for medium profile tires
