Im bored and I need to get my mind off this knowledge assesment I have to write up for work so I can think of a question.
So I figured I'd ask... What cars(that you can remember) have you driven?
what was the best in terms of handling/performance/or just comfort?
1988 pontiac trans am GTA 5-spd (black exterior/interior)
1995 plymouth Voyager
2002 Mustang GT 5-spd
2000 Mustang GT conv. auto
1997 Sebring Lxi
1993? tercel with a 4age 20v swap
1988 Bmw 535is 5spd
2003? Nissan sentra SE-R Spec v
2002 audi A6 3.0
1985 toyota Celica Supra 5-spd
1990 audi v8q 3.6
2003 VW GTI 1.8t
1997 VW Jetta 2.slow 5spd
2007 mazda 6
2007 mazda CX-7
... thats all I can think of.
So far I love my GTI in terms of its all around comfort/performance. If I didnt have this car though I would have to go with the mustang GT 5spd because its a blast to drive.

I've driven an '06 zo6 and that was my favorite all around. I would love to drive one with bolt on's and a tune, but overall that car was great for being stock.

New GTR is probaly at the top. Followed closely by at 1156 rwhp twin turbo 04 cobra. Driving the ls600h and isF at work is always fun. Also driven a 730 rwhp supra, but that was more scary to drive then fun.

I'll skip over most of them since they're of no major consequence...well maybe except for my '65 Buick with a Wildcat V8, that was a fun car for a big old American car. I bought it from the original owner, a minister, when it had ~30k miles on it for $600, it still smelled and looked brand new.
Since I always wanted one from when I was a little kid and first saw it in 1961, back in 1972 I bought a '67 Jaguar E-Type Roadster...still one of my all time favorite cars. That car handled great, ran strong and very well, never had even a hiccup out of it though I knew how to handle/take of of the infamous Lucas electrics; plus being a young guy back then it helped that it was a major babe magnet.
While they were strange looking, I always thought that the Peugot 504 and 505 I owned had a great ride and one of the most comfortable seats; the suspension was lightly sprung and well damped so it floated over bumps but still handled quite well, the seats were some kind of foam filled...very comfortable.
Got the Supra now...great car, still never ceases to amaze me.
The coolest cars I've driven are probably my 69 Z/28 camaro, an 06 Z06, and an 09 Maserati Gran Turismo S.

Nicest: 03 911 turbo
In general:
lots of others...I work for a dealer and drive about 10 different ones a day, lost track :(

I'm not even going to name the cars I've driven because none compare to a Porsche Carrera GT(silver).

I've driven a lot of cars... I try to get seat time in as much as I can to keep my opinions open lol
The most fun I've had driving a car was and has been Justins MSP. The spool time is crazy (aka all the time... Small turbo FTW) and with his new ksports, it sticks like glue. But I also had a lot of fun driving my buddy at the times Evo... think packed some heat and kinda caught me off guard. Numerous MR2s... turbo, supercharged, v6, all motor.... they will always be my biased favorite lol. My mom works for someone that gave me a chance to drive his Aston Martin. Never have I felt more comfortable doing 100+ lol... The only thing that compared to that was my dads friends Carerra GT... total baller status. Oh and a 87? Ferrari Testerosa. That was the first cat I did 100 in 3rd gear in haha

well unlike you bastards I haven't driven too many awesome cars.
best driving experience I've had overall was probably my uncles Ford Falcon (1963 I believe)...that was just a cool experience, it was clean as hell and i cruised the highway for a bit. Fastest car I ever drove was my brother's old 1972 Nova.
My mom also got a 2008 T5 Volvo C70 hardtop vert. i only drove it once so far, but it was a damn nice car.

Holy sheet. I'v driven a TON of cars. Probably every popular import/domestic out there.
Favorite was prob a ferrari 360 modena.

Favorite was prob a ferrari 360 modena.
probably my favorite car, if not just my fav ferrari
I'll list as many as I can remember in order since it'll be easiest to remember that way...
1976? Mercedes Benz Diesel 5-Cyl. - fun ride, drove it up and down my grandparents driveway
1978? Plymouth Volare Wagon - my parents old car, just drove it around private property... big, rusty, drafty, cold plastic seats.
1987 Jeep Cherokee (learned to drive legally and got my license with this one) systematically falling apart
1986 Dodge Aries Wagon slap an NOS sticker in the back window of one of these things and guys in Jaguars suddenly want to race you...
1976 Dodge Dart Swinger (my first daily driver) Most comfortable seats EVER, low to the ground, rode pretty smoothly, the 318 made it move, and it was dark purple with a white dodge stripe and interior... probably my favorite... chewed through gas quick...
1991 Volkswagen Fox (learned stick on this car) great fun to drive, not very comfortable or leak-proof, and it was geared well... huge amount of mileage (like, 500,000 miles) and still ran strong
1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia I still drive this one... gets A LOT of attention, it's quite loud for barely being able to move, and it's just a blast to drive.
1986 Volkswagen Golf barely ran
1986 Ford Ranger Rusted to crap and the back end would break loose if it hit a patch of spit in the road.
1987 Dodge Charger 2.2L Surprisingly sprite for what it was, I made a lot of guys with newer imports mad at me... but the ride was bouncy, it had trouble going into 1st gear (only I seemed to have the magic touch to be able to do it), and it had big blind spots in the rear corners.
2004 Subaru WRX (test drive) great car, quick and fun
2004 Scion xB (test drive) another great car, ugly and functional
1991 Saturn SL1 biggest piece of garbage I have ever wasted money on. Exploded within the first week I had it because the engine is made out of recycled coke cans.
1991? Ford F-150 with an extended cab, full size bed, and a cap on the back. No fun to drive at all, even less fun to park.
1985? Chevy K-10 Blazer The rustiest, most fun to offroad vehicle I've driven
1987 Chevy S-10 Blazer Sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow but I kicked the crap out of it and it kept coming back for more.
1991 Toyota Tercel like driving a big go-kart.
1993? Ford Windstar giant, floaty, akward, but it fits a lot of my friends.
2001 Chrysler Concorde nice car but the angle of the windshield bugs me for some reason.
1994? GMC Sonoma Amusing little ride, I mostly liked it because it was a manual trans and i still wasn't driving manuals much.
1987? Oldsmobile something or other So unimpressive that I've forgotten what kind of oldsmobile it was.
1987 Ford F-100 RWD very fun to drive, 302 with a 4-speed manual with a hurst t-handle shifter in it.
1998 Mazda 626 LX Functional point a to point b kind of car... I had the 4 cyl. which didn't have a lot of power
2006 Subaru 2.5RS fun to drive, I like AWD cars.
1995 Eagle Talon ESi My current daily driver... chinsey interior, but it's got a decent amount of pickup for what it is, so I can live with it.
2006 Chrysler Town & Country much more stable to drive than the windstar, but it's still a big, akward van. heated seats and built in GPS are cool tho.
1997? Pontiac Sunfire Meh
2002? Pontiac Sunfire also Meh
2006? Pontiac G6 pretty decent, comfortable, not too slow, has onstar which I hate.
1998 Chevy S-10 Pickup. No adjustable steering wheel so it's sitting right in your lap which is annoying... cab seems small and kind-of cramped.
There are probably more, but I'm sure I've bored you enough...

I've driven a ton of cars, probably just about everything "normal" made and some not so normal ones. My favs:
911 Turbo - One of my absolute wet dream cars. I should have never driven it because now it is my life's mission to own one. Just don't tell my wife.
New Shelby GT500KR - About as close to a classic muscle car as you can buy today. Handles like a brick with all that weight up front, but when you stomp on the gas, who gives a crap.
Maserati Quattroporte - Bought one for the owner of the company I used to work for. Hands down the best executive sedan around and just drips money and sex.
Aston Martin DB9 - Bought for the other owner of the same company, same thing, sex and money.
Jensen Interceptor Mk. III - Horrible car in so many ways, but is incredibly unique and got a ton of looks while I was driving it.
Other notables:
Late 70's Plymouth Volare Sedan - Green with a white vinyl roof and a four speed. It was my dad's beater and he used to let me sit on the front bench (green vinyl interior, WOOT) with him when I was like 6 or so and shift the car while we were driving.
1994 Plymouth Voyager - Mom's car when I got my license...lot's of fond memories of the summer before my senior year happened in that car.

I used to keep a list of every car a drove... but that was a long time ago.
I was just thinking the other day that the EVO is the most fun car I've ever owned.
runs a pretty decent 1/4mile and still can rip-up the road course.

probably my favorite car, if not just my fav ferrari
They're not very fast. My 240 would eat it for breakfast. But the sound the modena makes is INSANE. It feels like there's a crotch rocket behind your head when u drive it. And the steering feels like a go-kart.
If I ever got one it'd be a spider though. With a modena, I'm not trying to race anyone. Just blaze 140mph on the highway and listenin to that engine.

the first car I ever drove was a 2002 Dodge Neon SXT when I was 12 years old. my crazy uncle made me drive it on 309! ha i thought I was going to get arrested! But the coolest car to date that I drove is my uncle's 04 Ferrari 360 Modena. I want to take it to the sonic meet this year but doubt that'll happen...we'll see. My favorite car that I ever drove was my last car, an 07 BMW 335i. Twin turbo inline six and man did that thing scream! It had a Vishnu chip and bypassed electronic limiter so it was tons of fun! Oh and the third vehicle I ever drove was a lot of fun as well- when I was 15 I drove a Hummer H2 SUT and got to drive it on the beach as well.. lots of fun! Have driven less exciting cars/motorcycles to date as well, but those are probably the most memorable.

Fastest I have driven would be a C6 Z06. Some dumb guy that was friends with my old boss let me take it out for a spin. It was fun :)
Oh yeah, I forgot, when I was like, 12, I was put behind the wheel of a DUKW (duck) in Boston once it was in the water... that was fun.

Since I used to work at a rental company/dealership, I drove a lot of cars.
A bunch of newer Land Rovers: comfy as **** and uber baller status. I got a lot of stares driving them.
A bunch of Jaguar's, even though they were only the S Type, still nice and comfy.
A Saab every now and then. Now I know why the Saab guys on here like them.
A few Chevy Impala's. Nothing special.
A few Chevy Malibus. ****tiest car chevy ever made.
A Ford Ford 500. Loved the way the car felt.
A Dodge Ram 2500 HD 5.9 Diesel. The interior wasn't the best.
A Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Lots of power and was comfy on the inside.
A Chrysler 300, non hemi. Nice as **** on the inside.
A Chrysler Town & Country. Meh, its a Mini Van.
Now to personal/family vehicles/friends cars.
A 1999 Ford Windstar...hated that thing.
A 1998 Passat 1.8T 5spd. Wish my mom sold it to me.
A 1996 & 1995 Integra (both were mine, now totaled.)
A 1995 Chevy Camaro 3.4, it was slow. Just ask DropTopChevy lol.
A 1995 Caprice Classic with an LT1. It was quick for what it was.
My 1995 Ford Ranger: uncomfortable.
A 1999-2000 BMW Z3 Roadster. Its uncomfortable, but quick and fun to drive.

awesome thread.
anyway, damn u guys have driven a lot of cars. i have a few memorable ones, mark, (05GT) let me drive his cobra around but i was wayy too scared to beat on it.
small list of fun cars...
300whp supercharged exige
475whp Fd rx7
E46 M3
various race car versions of rx7s, rx8s, even mazda3's.
but the best/nicest/ favorite goes to the Ferrari F430 Scuderia.
not only is it my fav car of all time, but i also got to drive one. very few kids can say they drove their all time dream car. loved the F1 gearbox, manettino settings, ceramic brake discs bigger than the wheels on my car,and the carbon fiber paddle shifters......a great car.

I honestly can't remember all the cars I've driven as I've worked as a mechanic for a few years and my dad's side of the family owns/has built a lot of cars. So I'll build a top 5 List... Not in any particular order of fun/enjoyment factor as I've pretty much liked them all equally.
1.)Chris' 500whp HTA35R EVO
2.)Josh's old Z06
3.)800ish rwhp/GOBS of torque 72 chevelle my dad resto'd
4.)1990something porsche boxter (first car i ever hit 100+ in)
5.)400whp srt4 (to this date, the only car that ever scared the **** out of me while i was driving)
I'm sure there's more that I enjoyed at the time I just can't rememer right now but the vast majority of the cars I've driven have been Daily Driver type cars.

I have driven a lot of cars but some guy traded in an 11 second Evo 8. Basically the salesman had no idea it was this fast but the guy told me personally so I volunteered to take it to get gas. I'm suprised I didn't get pulled over with that car. That thing moved and they told me they heard me about a mile and a half down the road going to Wawa it was so loud. Sucked you into your seat instantly and was tuned to around 20psi.

ha ha reminds me of when i took a Dodge Power wagon with duel exhaust down the road to get gas, I come back and the saleman and customer say's that thing is loud, i didnt even get on it.

Well, me being only 19, ive driven a pretty good number of cars.
-My car, a 2004 STi, just never gets old, and i really love every bit of it.
-My dad's 99' Porsche 996 Carrera, a very smooth, fast car, the build quality is awesome, its a great treat to drive every so often when my dad lets me.
-My dads old 1990 Porsche 944 S2, its the car i learned stick on so it'll always have a special place, it was fast and handled amazing, would make a great drift car if parts werent so expensive, one time i spun the tires all the way into 3rd gear. Such a fun car.
-2008 Porsche Boxter, 245hp, had only 850miles, (it was a loaner car while my friends dads cayene was in the shop). My friend and I drove the sh*t out of it, we drifted and did donuts in this parking lot by my house. I know it aint good for a car with that few miles on it to be bouncing off the limiter, but life aint worth livin if u pass up awesome opportunities.
-05 Audi A8 such a solid car at speed, best car ive ever driven on the highway, feels real good at autobahn speeds (if u catch my drift)
-BMW 745 such a solid car, real powerful feel.
-Merc S500 its an S class, what more should i say.
-Mini Cooper (manual) soooo much fun, not fast, but one hella good time.
-Merc CLK500 convertable, pretty damn fast with the V8 in there
-02 Mustang GT, This thing will do burnouts ALLLLL day, soooooo awesome, real fast too.
-Lexus IS300, fun car with the semi auto, i drove my buddy's, it has a cold air intake.
-Infiniti G35, such an awesome car, fast enough, and comfortable too, one of the best all around cars out there.
-My friends VW beatle, (with lunch trays under the rear wheels) SOOOOOOOO MUUUUCCCHHH FUUUNNN.
-Hummer H2, not really fun, except for the feeling of invincibility u get when ur behind the wheel, lol
-BMW X5 4.4i, pretty damn fast for an SUV
-Range Rover HSE, makes u feel like a baller, powerful feel.
off the top of my head those are the best so far, more to come of course.
I test drove a Bentley GT Mulliner, Maserati Quattroporte, and a Lexus ISF. with my dad, but i was too young for them to let me drive. U gotta be at least 21, or even 25 in some places. GAY!!! but it was still awesome just to ride in those cars so i aint really complaining.

I used to work for a Honda and Mazda dealership, so I pretty much have driven almost anything they made (mostly on the Honda side). Here is a list of the more exciting cars I've driven.
Honda S2000 (AP1) - Awesome car to drive. Not really enough on the low-end power for my tastes, but in the corners, its amazing. Top-down is a must with this car too.
Mazda RX-8 - Again, another car that was awesome to drive, but lacking in the power department. Cornering is a blast, but sadly, I could not really like the car as much as I wanted to. I hated trying to look out of the rear window too
Mini-Cooper S - Fun little car, was able to bounce around a lot in it. Plenty of room in the front for me, which was a concern at first. Not a bad car, but a tad too expensive for what it is.
MB S600 (was slightly modded) - Huge, comfortable, and quick as nuts once you mash the pedal. Some light mods to the car for a little power adding (ECU reflash, better pumps for the water/air ICs), brakes for some good stopping power (off of an SLK55), and the lowering module for the air ride. It did not drive like it was as big as a small tanker.
Those are really it for the cars I got some wheel time in, that are worth mentioning. Driven a few VWs (light mods and stock), couple of V8 Mustangs, and Cobalt SS (test drive), but other then that, I have nothing else intelligent to add here.

let's see i had a 95 chevy lumina - it was a boat lol, couldn't handle worth anything, but pickup was eh
then i had a 98 chrysler sebring lxi - i actually really liked this a lot, handled pretty damn good for what it was, quicker than many expected, comfortable etc
now i got the 08 evo gsr - obviously the best. pick up, handleing, everythings incredible. it's just so much maitenence.
but the best car i've ever driven is definatley my boyfriends 08 c6 vette. seriously that's what i want out of college now. competition mode on it is awesome, i love the six speed, and it handles incredible for rwd and sounds sick - even beat a lambo off the blvd.
oh yea, and my best friends got an is300, 02, semiauto - great car. gorgeous interior, specially if you get the cf trim. picks up good and rwd is fun, but terrible in the snow. i'd take that over a 328i anyday, which i've also driven.

my msp is the best i drove. so far.
one time i was coming off an off ramp, and it was going a little too fast and it was a very hard turn and i didn't expect it. the car handled beautifully, no understeer, all traction. my friend was surprised saying, wow, great handling.
sooo. no supercar experience, yet. so far i love my car more than any other car i had before.

Empty Minivans can get up and move when you mash the gas pedal. I had a Honda Oddessy chirping tires a couple of times. Rather funny to do

Eh... when you work for a car dealership, or really, anywhere that involves having to be around a lot of cars, its not really that hard.
