Places that can clean a transmission, do they exist? haha

I need the bell housing of my transmission cleaned, or something. I just want it to look fresh like everything else on the car. I almost contemplated buying a new trans but that would be too much money, so getting this one cleaned is the only option. Does any shop provide that type of service? or is it something I can do with just a powerwasher? I dont even know it that would ruin anything hahaa. LMK

I would say a big tub and some mineral spirits and maybe some scrubbing with soap and water and a pressure washer.

Clean it with brake cleaner then paint it with high temp ceramic paint.

Ive heard of people getting them soda blasted. i dunno of any shops around here though. why not get it powder coated you baller?

powdercoated transmission? lol it's heavy and has all that **** on there idk about that.

wow i just saw the pic and its not even that bad.. you can probably just clean that by hand with degreaser.

eh.. i wouldnt power wash it... id let some degreaser soak on it and then scrub it with a sponge.. just be careful of sensors.

Personally I would tape off any sensor locations and try that to start and see where that gets you.

im sure brake cleaner or carb cleaner which is a bit stronger i believe should clean it up a bit. Just some elbow grease time and patience and it should clean up nicely
